Most of the regulars here thought that the Feature Films area at the Archive was for films that are not protected by copyright---films that it is legal to upload. We thought that it was "Feature Films (in the public domain)", not "Feature Films (even copyrighted ones)".

And both obviously copyright. I remember the big woop-di-do that was made over "Love Story" back when it was still in theaters. It was the flick that made Ryan O'Neal's career.

It was the film that made me retch when I saw it.

Man, I'm with you. I picked up a cheap copy of this one to surprise my wife and be all kindsa romantic...y'know?

We laughed out loud at it, several times. We lived through the original brouhaha over the movie (teenagers then) but now we can't figure out why this was such a mega-hit.

Since it didn't have any monsters in it and I was only nine years old when it came out, I didn't give a crap about it anyway. When my folks took us kids to see it we were begging them to take us home halfway through it because we were so bored.
